Working Principle of The Ball Mill
During the operation of the ball mill, torque is transmitted to the gears of the ball mill through an electric motor and a reducer, thereby causing the rotation of the ball mill cylinder. Due to the rotation of the ball mill cylinder, the steel balls (or other grinding media) inside the cylinder are raised to a certain height through a concave convex lining plate, and then freely fall and collide with the materials inside the cylinder. The grinding media mixed with the materials continuously collide and grind with the materials as the cylinder rotates. Due to the continuous operation of the ball mill, the materials inside the cylinder and the grinding medium continuously collide and grind, grinding the materials to a certain degree of fineness. Due to the fluidity of the materials, the ground materials are discharged from the discharge port to complete the grinding operation.
Applicable Materials: lime, quartz sand, aluminum slag, iron ore, coke, coal gangue, raw coal, gypsum, furnace slag, fly ash, and other grindable materials
